Very very strange. It seems that the update itself is done except for a small part. All medals seem to have been awarded and it seems game stats have been reset properly for both games and players. I can't be final about the claim that no gamepoints were awarded for Burn Stuff and Special Snake. If I look at the top listing in the stats email I received I see that in total more points have been awarded than last month, so it looks as if nothing went really wrong there.
Yet I do see that some things were left un-updated, causing issues. Luckily it seems that this was minimal. The things that definitely weren't updated were the automated forum post (as you all already noticed) and the fact that we're no longer in the game month September, but in October (this would have caused the site to think there was a new month again this night so luckily, because of the quick feedback from you guys this could be prevented

).
I don't really get why both Burn Stuff and Mecha Martyr have ceased being able to submit highscores. I'm going to have to find some time to look into that one. Nothing changed in the game files, so it's kind of awkward that this change happened all of the sudden. The only difference between those games and the other ones is that they include Mochi-ads (which is loaded externally) so that may be a lead. But I'm going to have to do some more investigation to be able to be conclusive on the case.
From what I see now I think the main issue lay with the database system of the hosting provider that ceased its operations for a short period of time during the update (funny timing). I've seen some other issues with it today as well, so my money is on that one.
I'm gonna do my best to work on a solution asap. Sorry for the trouble.
P.S. for the time being I disabled burn stuff and mecha in the competition and re-added ibiza. Until those score submissions are fixed I'd rather keep them out of the competition and put a working game in there.
