i've got a feature and it is grenades... every military game has this indispensable thing... and another feature: why can't a bazooka soldier fire on enemy troops with his bazooka? (even he get some less accuracy because it can be big disadvantage for germans to blow up 3 soldiers at the same time confused ) thx for answers wink

Hehehe yeah I have to admit that those options have crossed my mind when creating the game. I think I didn't add the grenades because I hadn't quite figured out how to include those for longer ranges. But I guess you could just make them available to kill enemies that come too close and use them like you use ammunition, you just have a few of them.

The bazooka one was done the way it is because it's a semi fake-3d kinda animation. If I'd want to enable your bazooka troopers to fire at those german soldiers I'd have to make a ton of animations that would show a bazooka rocket flying at a german soldier that's located at a specific position. If you'd only take the positions close to the soldiers that would come down to about 25 for hits and another 25 for misses at least. Now that's a lot of work tongue .

At the moment I sadly have to say that even though I'd love to implement those suggestions I just don't have the time for it. I've been working on the site redesign for over half a year and it's going very slow as we speak because I just got a job for 40 hours a week + 3 hours of travel time a day. So right now I have very little time left to spent on working on the site dunno . I need to make the time for it again pretty soon because I really spent a lot of time on a very cool redesign that I'd really love to implement.

for me the school starts again... in many boring days i finally think on vanguard on clashflash.com... the best ideas comes when you haven't got lot of time sad i can help you with upgrading vanguard because is my favourite game... wink

I´ve got another idea... could you do some calculator to counting how much i can repair HP of bunkers per 1 bag/wood? Or repair bunkers as i wish? In situation when i haven´t got much bags? thx bigsmile

1. Well, the thing is that you have a very small line of defense. Being a sniper would require you to remain unnoticed. If you'd place a sniper in a sandbag bunker it would make the sniper completely useless in practice since he's spotted and shot at before he can actually shoot. So that's kind of why we decided to let you be the only sniper on your team, covering your soldiers from the far back. The precision your riflemen shoot with gets pretty close to sniper quality after a few levels.

2. That's what they're for, to annoy you. MUHAHAHA. No really, I added them because they keep you busy and focused and add a nice different element to the game. I kinda like them myself and the way you have to build roofs to protect your soldiers from them.

3. Grenades are just too much work for now. It would require a real load of additional animations. I just don't have the time for it at the moment. I'd rather keep that in mind for a potential sequel wink

If you have some small cool suggestions that can easily be added don't keep silent. Stuff like what Ikarases suggested can be added quite fast and doesn't take a lot of time, because that's the one thing I'm very short on at the moment.

Yea, about that mortars... i think when i kill mortar troop the mortar will stay here, right? And i think the normal troops can shoot too?

Right now? no. Once you kill a mortar any trooper they die along with their arms. It's basically like your soldiers. They can only use a specific weapon, so the other enemies can't use the weapons of enemies that died.

Well that was a choice made. It could be possible to have taken a different approach where you can choose to search for a specific weapon with a limited chance of finding it + being able to look for weapons in general with a higher chance of finding a weapon but maybe not the one you're looking for.

That would require another game upgrade to add such a sub-screen where you could choose between these two options. It's kind of questionable though if that wouldn't end up in too many options. With every option added the game becomes harder to balance.

Anyway, the suggestion Ikarases mentioned earlier about being able to see how much you can repair with limited resources has been implemented. Check it out. Now you should be able to see an additional bar when you hover over the repair button which will show you how much you will repair if you were to click it.
