How do I play this game?
This is not the ordinary tetris game. This is Tetroboom! You play this game with the same figures as in the original tetris game. The difference is that you have all the time of the world to place the figures on a 8x8 grid. The figures are made of colored blocks (squares) which can either be green, blue, yellow or orange. Connect 4 or more blocks from the same color to score points. With the power of rotation and a powerful EMP you’ll have endless possibilities to score efficiently. Your score will increase exponentially if you connect more blocks!
Some examples:

In this picture we are about to connect 5 yellow blocks which gives us 70 points.

If we would rotate our figure we could connect 6 blocks which gives us 120 points! That’s 50 more for a single block.
image 3.0
Here we connect 5 and 4 blocks at the same time! This gives us 220 points!

If you’re stuck, use the EMP to remove a maximum of 9 blocks! (3 by 3)

Explanation of the red numbers in the picture:
1:Already placed figures.
2:The figure you’re currently about to place.
3:The overview of the next two figures you will get.
4:Click the Yin and Yang button to switch to the EMP. The number in the picture displays the amount of EMP’s you have. You will receive a new EMP when the yellow bar (special EMP) is filled.
5:The bonus bar and the 28 display the amount of extra points you will get when placing a figure. This means that if you would place a figure right now, you would get 28 points. After placing a figure the bar slightly increases. It doesn’t matter whether you run out of bonus time, you only won’t receive many points when placing a figure.
What are the controls?
Use the mouse to move around a figure or EMP.
Click with the left mouse button to place a figure.
Use the arrow keys or the < > keys to rotate a figure.
Use the space bar, control key, or just press the EMP button to switch to the EMP and back.
Score lists and formulas
You score the left over bonus points when placing a figure.
When connecting 4 or more blocks of the same color you will score the following points:
4: 40 points
5: 70 points
6: 120 points
7: 190 points
8: 280 points
9: 390 points
10: 520 points
11: 670 points
12: 840 points
Etc…
The formula is: ((amount of connected blocks – 3) to the power of 2) + 3 = answer * 10;
When connecting 2 times 4 or more blocks from different (or maybe the same color separately from eachother) colors you will score the following points:
4 and 4: 160 points
4 and 5: 220 points
4 and 6: 320 points
4 and 7: 460 points
5 and 5: 280 points
5 and 6: 380 points
5 and 7: 520 points
6 and 6: 480 points
6 and 7: 620 points
Etc…
The formula is the same as the formula as the first one. Only the formula will be used for each connection. Then the total points will be times the number of connections you remove.
So this indeed means what you’re thinking.
If you remove 3 times 4 blocks with one placement you will score (3*40) = 120 * 3 = 360 points.
If you remove 4 times 4 blocks with one placement you will score (4*40) = 160 * 4 = 640 points.
Special thanks to Heady978 for his idea.
