Alright, well I've tried a different approach this time. It seems I've been looking in the wrong place and this will probably (but of course never certainly) fix it.

Again, if someone experiences this peculiar behavior like uwsublime don't hesitate to mention it because if we don't know about it we can't fix it wink

I just got the undefined score screen in Yoshi's on my home computer... First time I've seen it at home. I haven't played a lot since the last fix attempt, but all the playing I did do was successful. I'm using firefox at home as well but there shouldn't be a firewall issue here as my firewall is pretty minimal.

hmm strange, I thought I'd fixed it. Can you tell me which error you got? The getting undefined for monthly scores, your top score and the world record is something you get because something went wrong that shouldn't have but for me that information is too global to be able to track down where it failed. Since I don't see you show up in the logs this time it looks like the score was never submitted to start with, so did you get a clear error message or did it stick on "submitting score ..."?

There has never been an error message, it just shows undefined for those 3 values and does not submit my scores.

oh? when you submit a score there's supposed to be a message underneath the scores telling you Submitting score, please wait.... If you have a fast connection you generally don't see that message and it directly swaps to some other message like Score submitted or if submission completely fails Error loading.

In your case I kind of expected it to say either Error loading or undefined. Can you make a screenshot if it happens again?

If your internet connection is blocked or breaks down during score submission it will get stuck on Submitting score, please wait....

Could definitely be that this time since it's only happened once. I'll get a screen shot if I see it again. Will be back at work on Wednesday night so I'll see if it is working there as well. Thank you for all of your work!

All I can do at this time is one final attempt and seeing what happens exactly. The error you got is related to having stated one game twice. If that's not the case (which it probably isn't in your situation) than it really does sound like a thing with your connection at work. In that case there's very little I can do apart from what I have already done. This whole situation really puzzles me..

I did (for the first time tonight) start the same game twice. Earlier in this thread you said you tested that and it wasn't a problem. If that is not supposed to work, I'll go back to one at a time. Invasion gets so boring while waiting for those levels to finish though. bigsmile

Haha, yeah true, I understand that. It's just that currently the system limits you to that. The reason for it has to do with security. I could adjust it and make it so that it's possible to play one game multiple times but it would still remain limited. I might change that when I'm up for it and not busy working on more important things wink . Until then, you are allowed to play multiple games at a time as long as it isn't the same game.

I think there are still some problems with getting credit/exp which are not connected with
multiple game instances. Yesterday i played sudoku and clash slider, but after some game i
noticed that i didn't get points for those games. So i startet Tanx and got a new highscore, but
even no points.

This morning i played again for making some screenshots, but with the 2 first games my exp
(and game points to) climbed from 139 to 143. In the 3rd game i gained again no points. I
tried to logout and wait, closed browser, ... but nothing helped. I'm still getting no points
today. But gamepoints are submitted.

After playing 2 times sudoku, still the same exp, credits and so on, but 2 more games/points
for sudoku listed.

Well the system works as follows. You only get game and experience points from playing competition games if you satisfy the following two conditions:

1. You submit a score for a game
2. You have not exceeded the maximum amount of game- or experience points for the current day (GMT+1)

I've taken a look at the system to make sure that it's working as it should, since your numbers sounded a bit off from what you should get. I noticed that there is indeed a small bug in there as the limit of points per day was set too low. It's been adjusted now to:

Max exp per day from games: 10 pts
Max gp per day from games: 10 pts
Max exp per day from posting on the forum: 5 pts

You're quite a sharp one for noticing that one wink . Thanks for reporting it!

If you get 2 points for EXP and GP every time you play a game (Up to 10 points) plus 1 EXP point for every time you post on the forum, why is it that most people's GP is higher than their EXP?

Because when the month is over you'll get GP for your score at the competition games. When you're number one there you'll get much points (more points when more people did play that game in a month).

Aye that's exactly it. The better your results in the competition at the end of the month, the bigger the distance between your experience and your gamepoints will become.
