JC how does the chain grabbing work exactly? I searched for it and saw that people were calling it chain throw. I watched a youtube movie about it too but couldn't figure out what they did exactly. But it was devastating.
With Melee I haven't completed everything yet. I'm stuck at two things to unlock 2 more levels.
That is Event Match 51. I can get quite far with jiggly's sleeping move on bowser, but didn't manage to win yet.
Secondly is the homerun contest with Yoshi. I'm not that fast with the controller to hit it far enough.
Maybe you can help out?

With the chain grabbing I'm not so sure. My main character is Marth and you can only sort of chain grab with him.

The key to event match 51 is, (like you said) using Jigglypuff. To have a really good chance of beating it, try not to die at all until you have killed Giga Bowser. (If you use Jigglypuff's B right move followed by a rest on Giga Bowser you'll kill him nearly every time.) After you kill Giga Bowser all three times you just need to avoid Ganondorf and Mewtwo until you get a good item or just use Jiggly's charge B all the time.

For Yoshi in home run contest, all you have to do is short hop (a smaller jump which you get by tapping the jump button quicker) and instantly going into his A and down move. If you are fast enough with the attacking, you can hit sandbag over 2 000 feet. I'll make a video and show you. However, I'm not a pro at homerun contest and can't do any of the really crazy stuff yet which can get you distances over 5 000 feet.

If you haven't seen the Melee videos below yet, I strongly recommend you watching them because they teach you many advanced techniques which will make you twice as good as a Smash fighter. (Trust me they're great!)

Advanced How to Play Part 1

Advanced How to Play Part 2

Advanced How to Play Part 3

If you want to watch these you better have a lot of time on your hands because you need to watch them all at once for them to make sense.

I knew several things of the walkthrough, and several things not. It's nice thought. But I like to play console games just to unlock all stuff. And I'm playing vs Crisis. We are both about equally skilled at the game so its cool to play vs each other.

Yeah... It really sucks when people aren't evenly balanced and makes the game less fun. At least when you're balanced it makes the match more interesting.

hmm.. Now I've got to study them skillz presented in these movies otherwise Myth will kick my arse. I must say some of the tricks in there are pretty nasty. If you master them you can simply play very lame especially with those dashy moves. I.m.o. those don't really make the game better, they actually more or less can spoil a battle.

Hehe, I guess you don't have to worry mate, some of these moves are too complex to learn quickly and my fingers would get too exhausted by all this stuff.
Anyhow, I've seen some so called 'expert' battles as well and their abusing all this shizzle all the way. I hope Brawl fixes all these abuses for they are far from fun.

I don't quite see where people get the time and will to master these kind of games entirely.

Actually, in my opinion the real fun in these games comes from playing them without any or little real practice. The battles that come from that are the ones that don't abuse the lame stuff these so called "experts" do.

Aw come on! Some of them aren't that bad. Such as going straight th a grab from a shield. However, the ones that are sort of like glitches (like all the wavedashing techniques) ruin the game. Don't worry though! I believe they got a rid of wavedashing in Brawl.

At least, the tourney matches of Brawl that I've been watching didn't have wavedashing.

Here are around 50 of the best Brawl matches at the moment. Some of the best people are in these matches.

Awesome Brawl Matches!!!

Well those were basically the tricks I was referring to as spoilers. The grabbing is something that's quite decent and not that special and so is the use of a block the moment you get hit.

*Drools at the videos*

I still see some kind of wavedash activity in there, and I also noticed Marth being called Marth in there and not Ike. I can't wait to play it. Damn you for showing me this!
