Kind of a hard question, so I base this question on the fact if I had the most fun playing the game for the time it was released. I mean I find Age of Mythologies more fun than AOE2 right now, but I had certainly more fun playing AOE2 than AOM later.

Best:
1. Age Of Empires 2: The Conquerors Expansion (pc)
2. Unreal Tournament (pc)
3. Half-Life + (Day of Defeat, Counter Strike, Team Fortress mods) (pc)
4. Street Figher Alpha 2 (SNES)
5. Super Smash Bros Melee (gamecube)

I base the worsts on the least amount of fun playing for its release date.
Worst:
1. The Sims (I want a clear mission!)
2. KKND2 Crossfire (Command & Conquer still dominates)
3. M.A.X. 2 (same as for KKND2)

hmmn, tough tough.. Thanks for reminding me of Turok JC-Gamer. I agree it was one of the worst experiences ever..

- Age of Empires series
- System Shock
- Half-life (including counter-strike)
- Zelda (guess I had the most fun with "A Link to the past" and "Windwaker"
- Lineage II
- Unreal Tournament
- Heroes of Might and Magic III
- Might and Magic VI
- Sacrifice

5 games to burn on a stake (yet again counting is hard):
- All Might and Magic games after VII
- Turok
- Serious Sam

Guess most of the games that sucked badly simply vanished from my memory. Even though I know I've played a lot of horrible games I simply can't recall them.
