is there actually a way you can win trophies or do you get them after a certain amount of point lol i just dont know how that works ???? anyone know how it works?

The competition resets itself each month. Of course your scores are not deleted, they're still in the hall of fame and also in your profile. The monthly top 35's are reset and the competition starts all over for the new month.

So at the end of this month everybody gets bonus game- and experience points depending on how well they did in the competition. And as you can guess, the trophies are handed out as well.
