If I want to change my profile, when I use FireFox, the website doesn’t save my changes.

For example when I edit my birthday or anything else and I press ’change profile’ nothing changes. Do you have any idea and can it be fixed?

Did you enter your password when you’re submitting the changes?

The profile saving is not browser dependent. It should work in every browser and it works for me in IE and Firefox. All I can think of currently is what Myth just said.

Yep, that’s it. But why?

The reason for it is your own protection. Eventhough it’s quite unlikely to happen and the effect isn’t that horrible if it would happen, it may be that you’re logged in afk. Now someone could walk up to your pc and change your profile information, the password field makes sure this is impossible.

It may be annoying that you have to enter your password, but then again, how often do you change your personal information?
