Hey everyone,

We’ve heard from several members that sometimes registration mails aren’t send. Untill we’ve found out where that comes from, if you have that same problem send an email to support@flashcompetition.com and we’ll activate your account for you.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

We’ve spoken with our hosting company and it seems there is some trouble with one of the mailservers. They’ll try and adjust it as soon as possible, untill then we’ve implemented a temporal solution. It’s not perfect, since in a lot of situations the activation mail will end up in the junk mail of the one that signed up.

So please, if you’ve signed up and did not receive the activation mail in your inbox, make sure to check the junk mail (otherwise know as the spam folder) to see if the mail is in there.

I hope it won’t take long untill the mail server problem is fixed, but as long as it isn’t we’ll have to stick to the current solution.

You mean a PM? Sounds like a nuisance. I guess that version of firefox has some issues with the javascript load system we use. If you have another browser try opening the message with that for now. I hope not too many bugs start turning up now because it would be a waste for me to spend my time fixing bugs in the old version of the site while I'm working on something new at the same time. It is nice to know about this issue though.

Yes, PM. Under IE8 and Firefox 3.0 is ok everything. And new things found, I cant use forum, because the quote, reply and new thread are missing.
Firefox 3.5 is coming, the beta4 pretty faster than F3.0 and IE 7/8 and stable enough that is the reason why I already use it .

wow, that sounds awefully shitty. I guess I can't escape having to do a quick fix for that if those buttons don't even show up. How about the profile. Are you not able to open the messages in your inbox or are you not able to go to your inbox at all?

Apart from that, I do really recommend not to switch to a new browser too fast, especially when that browser is still in beta stage. It happens a lot that by that point there are still issues with the browser causing sites to display wrongfully or where certain things simply don't work.

That definitely sounds like that new version of firefox has some very annoying issues. I really recommend sticking to the 3.0 until that one is fully released. Yet again, I'll make sure that this issue can't happen like this on the new site.

Nice to hear that, looks like that it was a problem in the new firefox internet browser!
